[issue758] mDNS addresses don't resolve on OS X

Cloning from a repository using an mDNS domain (bonjour on OS X) on the
command-line causes the client to hang when in OS X. It works fine from Linux.

Interestingly, putting an alias in the .hgrc to the .local domain works.
