Thanks! We still need support for --subrepos in a number of commands.
You can search for subrepoopts in commands.py to see where the flag is
added.

Even if a command accept the --subrepos flag, it's not certain that it
works for all subrepo types. As an example, 'hg status --subrepos' don't
show anything for Subversion subrepos.

It would be valuable to document this in a table in the wiki, and then
try to complete the table.
