My Sysadmin coworker that works on our servers was setting up some new servers
and started receiving this error when attempting to clone:

“error: _ssl.c:507: EOF occurred in violation of protocol”

Been googling this and found this link:

and will be following the advice there and created this ticket to see if you
can provide any additional guidance.
