Yes, literally this.

I always have hard time when I forgot to do `hg up @` and accidentally 
move @ somewhere else. I have requested this many years ago I'm happy 
that it was decided now.

This is even more important as many tutorials on Mercurial advocate bare 
`hg update` which is incompatible when using bookmarks.
