            Bug ID: 6548
Summary: local clone double encode store path
           Product: Mercurial
           Version: 5.9rc0
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: bug
          Priority: wish
         Component: Mercurial
          Assignee: bugzilla at mercurial-scm.org
          Reporter: pierre-yves.david at ens-lyon.org
                CC: mercurial-devel at mercurial-scm.org
    Python Version: ---

issue 6547 reveals that store path seems to be double encoded with doing a
local copy (maybe a stream clone too ?), So if the encoded path contains a
character that needs encoding too typically "~" the result will be a different
filename and the target file won't be found.

Example: https://foss.heptapod.net/octobus/mercurial-devel/-/jobs/228087

We should get some explicit test for this.
