Ok, I finally found time to read it all, Its overall very good and needs
to get in asap. But I've a lots of small feedback about it. We should
probably start getting it in on chunk at a time, (using mercurial-devel
to prevent spamming this user focused list.).
I would say the new version on the index is the first thing to focus on.
Unsorted list of feedback on the whole stuff:
- please put a space after -m: `hg commit -m"babar"` → `hg commit -m "babar`
- there is multiple -m flag that seems useless (while calling amend and
uncommit)
- Maths are cool but we should probably not includes them in the basic
material for new comers. A "Evolve for Mathematicians" would be cool
- I feel like you are putting some complexity a bit too much forward in
some part of the user guide. we can discuss it when we come to reviewing
this specific part.
Looking forward for the first patch on Mercurial-devel!
Thanks again for working on this.
