Notable in this release is a fix for musl libc's tell() behavior on append-mode files. See https://www.mercurial-scm.org/repo/hg-committed/rev/97ada9b8d51b - depending on your libc choice(s), you may want to back port this to older packaged versions if pushing 5.0.2 isn't viable. We know this causes problems on Alpine, for example.
