World domination is clearly just around the corner

Readers may find this mildly amusing.
I was sitting in a cafe in San Francisco the other day, hacking on
Mercurial, when someone sat down next to me at a long table, took out
his laptop, and proceeded to do whatever.
Out of the corner of an eye, I noticed that he was running X, and I saw
what looked to be SHA1 hashes floating past in an xterm, along with what
looked like tags in a Linux kernel revision history.
"Excuse me," I said, "but are you using git?"
"No," he replied, "I'm using another piece of software, called
Mercurial."
So there. It is now possible to run into other Mercurial users in
places entirely random.
