Correct, ext3, using a pretty much unmodified 2.6.11 kernel.  (ATI
Radeon powersaving patch, and one or two others, but nothing that
should have made a difference.)  I can try again with a completely
stock 2.6.11.12 kernel, if you think that would make a difference.
