First impressions of Mercurial

Does someone plans to add support for symbolic links ?
I am currently converting my BK repos to an other SCM (keeping
branches). At this time, I choose cogito/git because they support
symlinks, even if I would have prefered mercurial (git really needs lots
of disk space !)
