Problem with downloading kernel repository

It's possible the kernel.org webserver times you out. Anyone else
having problems? Firing off a fresh pull to check it here.. yep, that
worked. 4 minutes.

It probably needs some fixing.

I should perhaps make it do some sort of chunking. Say 1000 changesets
at a time. I'll think about it.

Actually you can download the early history tarball and then pull on
top of that:
