Seems some apache error, please look in apache's error.log.
> C:\aaa>hg clone static-http://127.0.0.1
> abort: HTTP Error 404: Not Found
Can't work with the CGI, you need to publish the .hg directory.
> C:\aaa>hg clone http://127.0.0.1:8888
> abort: Invalid argument: 127.0.0.1:8888
Bug in Mercurial meets Windows file name conventions:
Mercurial tries to create a local directory "127.0.0.1:8888" here,
but Windows doesn't allow colons in names.
Just specify a non-existing target directory, e.g.:
hg clone http://127.0.0.1:8888 foo
> C:\aaa>hg clone static-http://127.0.0.1:8888
> abort: index 00manifest.i unknown format 17487!
Can't work with hg serve, static-http wants files, not a real hg server.
