I'd say docbook pretty much addresses all these points. The docs that
are coming with hg are written in asciidoc, and there's an easy way to
convert them into docbook, while there seem to be no converter to
LaTeX. Why it's important? Because Bryan seems to write _the_
manual, and it would be really nice to have just a copy of the hg doc
there (where all options are explained etc).
