In addition to the other answers given, I should point out that you can
have a single mq repo, with different series files that you use under
different circumstances.  For example, a series-2.6.17 file and a
series-2.6.18 file, for patches that should go into different kernel
trees.  Just symlink the series file you need to the name "series", and
mq will use that one.
