I've been wandering perhaps all posts to the bts should be send to the
mailing list. It's quite a hassle having to logon to the bts and add
my name to the issues of interest. Also, using email to update the bug
doesn't always add my name to the noisy list automatically - I may
have nothing to update but just want to follow the issue.

Sourceforge has been doing this with their trackers.
