The result is useless to some of us.

Until I can get gtk built on my normal platform without it thinking
that crap like evolution is necessary, I'll be unable to use gtk.
What possible excuse does a widget set have for needing its own MUA?
That just reinforces the 'GNOME is bloatware' meme.
