On my system they are indeed connected but the link shows up only
starting from 2379. When I look at 2380 there is no link visible.

Funny, I reduced the window to make a screen shot and the link appears
again. And in fact the link is always visible but at the wrong place when
the window is too wide.
So it's probably not the same bug.
