Hi All,
Sorry if this is a complete newbies question.
I am just planning to using mercurial for kernel development and alike.
I tried cloning downloaded 2.6.18 vanilla tree using
$ hg clone /opt/vanilla-2.6.18 /opt/hg-2.6.18
after doing a hg init /opt/vanilla-2.6.18
All i get is an empty dir with no kernel src files.why?
Though my original intention is to get the whole vanilla tree checked
out, which didn't happen :-(.
What am i missing here?
The Hg tutorial on selenic site says you will get everything out in
your local repo from a base master, isn't it?
Or is it that it does not works with files.
What did i miss?
Please help, as i do not want to use subversion again :-(.
Thank you
