No i did not.
I don't want to, precisely speaking.
I want to manage a vanilla tree downloaded days back.

can't i use Hg with a local src repository?

Plus, i follow steps in the Hg tutorial wiki...
I thought i 'll get all the files checked out in my new Hg repo.
somewhat like a svn checkout.
