mercurial and S3

Has anybody implemented anything that would allow me to host a mercurial
repo on S3 using a private Virtual Hosted Bucket?

As near as I can tell some means of providing the authentication keys would
be required but I am not familiar enough with the internals of Mercurial to
know exactly how big a job this would be.
