Emacs has just finished its _very_ long release cycle for Emacs 22.1,
so my guess is we are not going to see a full, new Emacs release for
at least another year.
If we can convince the Emacs developers to improve the current vc-hg.el
or even completely replace it by the time Emacs 23 is out to make it
work better with the 'D' part of 'DVCS', then by all means let's do it :-)
