I'll try to update mine to reflect v1.0 of these documents, and then
share now that I know the license. Like you mentioned, all that needs
to be done is to change all the small text to black, and this is easy
to do
in Inkscape. It still looks great, but it no longer overwhelms the
halftoning
on a laser printer.
