Options order....

Well...:
      hg ci -m 'Blah blah' .
works, but
      hg ci . -m 'Blah blah'
results -n
      -m: No such file or directory
Why it is so?

I tend to prefer the latter form, because I first write 'hg ci .' (to 
remember to commit
only current dir, not everything), then think about commit message.

PS In subversion both forms works fine.

PS2 The proble also applies to other commands and options.
