I don't think it's necessary for a (one-shot) converter to create
separate repositories for each branch since it's easy to extract
wanted branches from the repository afterwards using "hg clone" with
an -r option. Example:

    % yasvn2hg ... hg-repo
    [...]
    Branches in hg repository after conversion:
      - /branches/foo (head: 42)
      - /trunk (head: 117)
    % hg clone -r 42 hg-repo hg-foo
