It solves the UCM problem of making sure that each activity corresponds to the
patch used to solve it.

If I work on several activities in Hg and then hijack files with hg up in my
snapshot view, UCM will no longer have an accurate history of which patches
belong to which activities. 

Instead, I could hg up to a particular rev containing the fix for one
activity. Check that in. Change activities. hg up again to the next rev, and
so on. 

Now my coworkers working in CC have an accurate history when they look back at
those activities a year later.
