Massive CPU usage on file save for TortoiseHg?

Hi,

Has anyone else run into the problem where after a period of use, TortoiseHg
starts maxing out your cpu and locking up your computer for like 4-5 seconds
every time you save a file? I've heard that windows explorer shells have a
tendency to occasionally do weird things like this; I was just wondering if
anybody had encountered it specifically w/ TortoiseHg.
