Windows: using hg executable from an IDE results in python errors

Which version of hg do you anticipate these fixes to show up?  Since
it looks like 1.0 is coming after the weekend, should we anticipate it
showing up in 1.1, or perhaps the folks behind TortoiseHg and/or the
windows build might include the patches.
