convert exception with django trunk

I didn't realize that you were talking about a full convert. For that, 8 to 12 
hours doesn't sound too bad. And since it's only a one-time operation, I can 
live with that.

The problem I'm talking about is precisely with the incremental conversion. The 
conversion itself in such a case is very quick (seconds), but then convert seems 
to hang. That's what I was complaining about (a full description is in the issue 
I mentioned above).

So I guess we're talking about separate issues, after all. Sorry for the 
confusion :(
