Question about hg releases and issues in the tracker

I hope this is the right forum for this question, otherwise: please point me elsewhere. Thanks!

I just started playing with hg and while converting a CVS repository appeared to work fine it then turned out that the conversion process had gotten the branch points wrong.
I searched the mercurial tracker, and found this issue, <http://mercurial.selenic.com/bts/issue1447>. In the tracker it was listed as resolved last june.

My main question is: should I expect hg version 1.4.1 (just a few days old) to include this fix (because if it does I guess I have to open a new bug report)?

Also: it isn't clear to me how I can deduce this information from the tracker. Can I? Is there a way to find out either which issues are fixed in a given release, or, alternatively, in which release a given issue is fixed?
