bitten by this one twice today so far:

the behavior should be (as it is stated in the bug):

something to rebase => end up at the most recent revision
nothing to rebase but pulled something => update
nothing pulled => do nothing

It is especially frustrating when you are switching back and forth 
between a bunch of repositories and may have forgotten where you were.
