Uh - yes. You're right... I just got mislead by seeing the ssh shortpaths in 
there. 

I pull everything back, except: It's bad that he didn't find it - and 
Mercurial should work to make its purpose clearer. 

Currently paths states 

 paths        show definition of symbolic path names

Can you think of a description which says more clearly "If you want to know 
the default path of your repo use hg paths"? 

Also do you think it would be useful to seperate the paths into cathegories 
(so noone else thinks "damn, this just gives me the ssh paths")? 

The mere existence of the info extension (which gives the "Cloned From" 
information (default path)) shows that I am not alone in being confused.
