How to correctly uninstall hg when installed with "make install"

"make uninstall" is one of the most wanted features of distutils / setuptools, 
seriously.  It's probably to topmost FAQ on the respective mailing list(s).

Let's hope that it will get implemented in the not-so-distant future.
