I set up an automated test to try and reproduce the problem, but
without any success now. You can see the sources here:

If you want to run this yourself, clone the repository and run as:

`pwd`/hg-test.sh

This is for shUnit2 to be able to "find" the tests in the shell script.
The only requirement is having the hg command line tool in your path.
