I have a long term plan for creating a standalone GUI client for mercurial
(similar to perforce p4v client).

Well, it is possible to create an application similar to hgtk with a little
effort using existing HgSccPackage windows, but it will be windows only and
also will have less features than TortoiseHg/hgtk.
Right now I don't have a support for some advanced features: MQ, Email,
Patches, Serve, Shelve, Bisect, Cherry-pick, Rebase, etc. 

Do you think that it is still worth to create a such tool ? Why not use hgtk
as is ?
