xml style is quite new and not used that much, so it is very possible 
that there are some issues there. I'm CCing the author of the xml style. 
You could also file an issue in the bug tracker.

Perhaps these issues can be fixed in 
mercurial/templates/map-cmdline.xml, but it is also possible that code 
changes are needed.

The test suite only tests xml style with "log". If you can contribute a 
more thorough test it would be easier to spot errors, fix them, and make 
sure it don't break again.
