How does Hg do file renames?

I'm going to disagree there.  delete+copy is NOT a rename/move in my 
book.  Losing all of the history associated with the given file simply 
because you needed to change its name is a big shortcoming in my book.

I know it isn't really "lost" but it isn't as readily available as I 
wish it were.  I'd like to see a way to actually bring the entire 
history of the file along when it gets renamed.
