Mozilla's announced move inspired confidence and I needed something
that worked well on Windows.

It's fast and nimble.

It makes me commit more often, which means better commit logs. Merging
is painless. Mercurial (sometimes through extensions) has a lot of
functionality that SVN doesn't have, like record, mq, bisect, color.
