To tell you the truth, it's not clear why it doesn't have the hash in
the version number. In the TortoiseHg installers, hg and hgtk both
report the standard TAG+Dist-HASH version numbers.
I vaguely remember arguing with Adrian about this during the 1.5
sprint about the correct behavior (whether hg version should report
it's usual version number, or the version number of the package the
user installed).
I suspect we either came to the wrong conclusion, or I just forgot to
fix the standalone installer code-paths in thg-winbuild.
