They are case sensitive. They use the normal decode/encode filter
machinery in Mercurial and those patterns are case sensitive when the
filesystem is case sensitive.
Do you have problems because people add file names with differnt cases?
If so, I suggest using a hook on the server to prevent that. It would be
a more general solution.
