Pushing tags to clones from tags?

Apologies, I should've been clearer, though you nailed it here...:

That's the problem - I meant that I may need to create a little app to run
the command to create the tag (and push it) from head, because there's no
way I can get CruiseControl "out-of-the-box" to poll and build a tag, but
then tag the successful build from tip to avoid creating the additional
head.
