Scanning Directory tree

Hi Gang,
One feature I found useful 'back when' in my sourcesafe days was the
amility to say "show me everything I have checked out in the repository"

Now, I totally undertstand how to get my status in TortoiseHg and Hg
itself, but what I'd love to be able to do is have a simple script that
says
"Look at this directory tree, IF there is a Hg repository in it, or in any
of it's subtrees, tell me if there are any modified files, and where they
are" (we are not necessarly using subrepositories at this time)

Any good ideas (and yeah, this is under windows)
