Is this the "shelve tool" used by the TortoiseHg GUI? If so, I would
like to chime in to say it is pretty indispensible to my workflow. If
not...well, I assume it's similar enough for this to apply.
I'm not very good at making new clones/new heads/new MQ patches etc.
for unrelated changes, so I like to use shelve to tease apart my
changes into multiple changesets before committing. And using MQ, I'm
unable to pop the queue with uncomitted changes, so shelve also allows
me to make use of MQ at all in my lazy fashion.
That said, I'm not able to take on maintenance. I'm just answering
your implied question of whether it is still useful.
