Repository outside the working directory?

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm on Windows - that's why I'm using hg
instead of git :-)

I had another look at the documentation for share, and (if I understood it
correctly) it says that patch queues are kept with the working directory. If
I do all my work in versioned patch queues, presumably these will take up
more space than the actual repository, so share is solving less than half
the problem. It also means that I can't use mq as a non-volatile backup for
ramdisk work.

Is there any other way of doing this? Symbolic links can be set with windows
if I reformat the ramdisk to NTFS, but I'd prefer to use native hg support -
if there is such a thing.
