.hgsubstate not updated on "pull -u" or "update"

I went back and changed my .hgsub to use a relative path with
"SubSharedCodeRepo = ../SharedCodeRepo"  (using forward slash - Unix like,
instead of backslash - windows like) and every thing works the same.

Same problem with .hgsubstate not getting updated on "hg pull -u".

I have to do a "hg revert -rtip .hgsubstate" to get the .hgsubstate in sync
with the parent of the subrepo working directory.
