Integration of Mercurial into LXR

What happens if you replace the call to hg with a call to a simple python script that just prints some constant strings? (ie. try to eliminate hg as the source of the problem). Make sure it uses the same interpreter that the hg command is using.

Hg is definitively NOT the cause of the problem. It looks like the interconnection between Apache, Perl and Python is not as smooth at it should be. But I don't understand why retrieving a huge annotated file through a seemingly similar pipe works nicely.

I'll have a try with lighttpd instead of Apache.

Anyway, consider my request for help closed with "irrelevant" status. Thanks for the advice; even if it did not solve the problem, many leads have been closed.
