"Official" recommendation to disable the anti-virus on windows

Hi,

I'm in the process of setting up a new mercurial server at work. Due
to a change in policy we have a new requirement where we must request
for an exception whenever we want to disable the anti-virus on a
machine, even if it is only for a certain directory.

As part of that request I must "provide the vendor document/URL which
recommends to have this scan exception.".

So, do we have such a document (e.g. a Wiki page) where the
recommendation to disable the anti-virus (and, if possible, the
windows indexing service) is clearly stated?
