You have tried tortoisehg havent you? Alternatively the mercurial
authors have provided the alias mechanism if you need to change the
names or need short cuts.
Personally I find the mercurial user experience very polished compared
to many that I have used - try sccs, csv, pvsc, VisualSorceSafe, Oracle
Dimensions to name just a few.
