Murky bug...

Hi folks,

I've been poking and prying around Mercurial and have found that some of my data set has non-ASCII names.....

$ hg status
? Itau/Protocol Specs/New Docs/AP350 - Dise%F1o T%E9cnico - Transacci%F3n B401 v5.doc
? Itau/Protocol Specs/New Docs/AP350 - Dise%F1o T%E9cnico - Transacci%F3n B401 v5_Eng.doc

The root repository was created using Windows and I'm trying to look at a Mac clone of it.

Perhaps this could be part of the problem with MacHg??

Btw ... I'm using Mercurial Distributed SCM (version 2.5+20130205) on MAC OSX 10.6.8.

cheers...angus

Thanks for the backup plan. I'm still hoping MacHg can be fixed to do the job as I've been using it for a number of years now. :)

On a somewhat related note, if you like TortoiseHg, you can get that running on a Mac. I've got some blog posts about it here:

FWIW: with some help from the Kiln folks we hope to soon begin packaging TortoiseHg for Mac. You can already download Kiln for Mac from their website, which includes THG.
