Lost history when moving file

Hi,
Should Mercurial 1.5 record history of changes on file moves?
In
http://roundup.hg.sourceforge.net/hgweb/roundup/roundup/rev/57b9f2848cf8
I've made a "hg mv demo.py roundup/" command to move a file. Then I needed
to rebase the changes, but rebase went confusing, so I've reverted it using
backup bundle. Then I imported my changes into mq, updated and manually
pushed commits editing patches one by one.
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/623052/how-to-edit-incorrect-commit-message-in-mercurial
After committing it with qfinish and pushing I've noticed that all history
for roundup/demo.py is gone. I remember that when I was reviewing the mq
patch - there were two strings about moving demo.py to roundup/demo.py -
nothing about creating any new file like you may see on the URL above.
File log in web interface and log -C show only two revisions.
hg log -C roundup/demo.py
I am very sad.
