That seems very strange. I didn't think it was physically possible to have multiple files with the exact same filename in the same folder on Windows 7. Is anybody looking at the projects thru a Library? Maybe that is somehow messing things up?
You said you deleted the extra thgstatus files. Are they coming back in the repos they were deleted from?
I'm still on THG v2.9 but I've never seen more than one copy of thgstatus in each .hg folder on Win XP or Win 7. On the other hand, I've never had a repo that large either.
